How we make money

SnugQuote is free for you to use, and always will be. Nobody runs a website for free, though, so here is exactly how the business works — in plain English, because we would rather tell you ourselves than have you wonder.

The model

When you ask us to arrange quotes, we pass your enquiry to FENSA/CERTASS-registered window installation companies and vetted home-improvement lead networks operating in your area. Those companies may pay us a referral fee for the introduction. That fee is how the site, the research, and the free estimate tool get funded.

What that means for you

• It never changes your price. Installers pay referral fees out of their marketing budgets — the same budgets that would otherwise fund advertising. You pay the installer the same as any direct customer.
• The estimate tool is unaffected. Our price ranges come from published market data, not from the companies who pay us. We show the same numbers whether or not you request quotes.
• No pressure by design. The estimate works without your contact details, and requesting quotes is a separate, clearly optional step with explicit consent.
• You stay in control. We tell you who receives your details, and you can withdraw consent at any time — see the privacy policy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your details to anyone you have not consented to hear from.
• We do not rank or recommend installers based on who pays us more.
• We do not carry out installations ourselves, and we are not owned by any installer or manufacturer.
