1. Who we are

These terms apply to your use of snugquote.co.uk, operated by Optimal Chain Ltd (company no. 16589599, registered office 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ), trading as SnugQuote. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. What our estimates are (and are not)

Our estimate tool produces indicative price ranges based on published UK market data, adjusted for broad factors such as region and property type. Estimates are not quotes, valuations, or offers to carry out work, and actual prices from installers will differ based on survey findings, exact specifications and market conditions. Do not make financial commitments based solely on an estimate.

3. The introduction service

• We are an introduction service: with your consent, we pass your enquiry to installers and lead networks who may contact you to quote.
• We are not a party to any contract you enter with an installer. Contracts for survey, supply and installation are between you and the installer alone.
• We do not guarantee that any installer will contact you, offer a particular price, or be available in your area.
• While we only work with FENSA/CERTASS-registered firms, you should make your own checks before signing anything — certification status can be verified free at fensa.org.uk and certass.co.uk.

4. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for: work carried out (or not carried out) by installers we introduce; decisions you make based on estimates or guide content; or indirect losses. Our total liability to you in connection with the site is limited to £100.

5. Acceptable use

Do not submit false enquiries, other people’s details without their permission, or automated traffic. We may block usage that we reasonably believe is fraudulent or abusive.

6. Content and accuracy

We work hard to keep guides and price data current (each guide carries its review date), but the market moves and we cannot promise every figure is exact at all times. Content is general information, not professional advice for your specific circumstances.

7. General

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Privacy is covered separately in our privacy policy.
